| ~Rainbow's Blue Genes~ 2005 Grey Appy Gypsy Stallion Bred by SD Farm Homozygous for Black; Carries 1 Grey Gene Edoras Stables is very proud to present our newest addition to our stallion line up, Rainbow's Blue Genes! Blue Genes, or "Boo" as he is known on the farm, is a gorgeous 2005 grey APPY Gypsy Horse stallion. He was bred by SD Farm in England and was imported by Black Forst Shires and Gypsy Horses as a weanling (he was known as Lil Alfie back then). He was purchased by Rainbow Gypsy Horses in Nevada ands sired several fine foals while there. We were fortuante to be able to purchase Boo from Rainbow Gypsy Horses and are very excited about getting him trained and out to some shows! Boo is an excellent expample of the breed, possessing heavy bone, wonderful conformation, pleanty of hair and feather (he even has a mustache!), beautiful movement, and a great temperment. He is started under saddle, and we will continue his riding training and hope to get him to some shows later this summer. He stands about 14.1 hands. Boo is homozygous for black (which means he cannot produce a red foal) and also carries one grey gene. He is avaibale to a limited number of outside mares. 2011 Stud Fee: $1,000 for Gypsy Mares; $750 for all other breeds. The stud fee includes a non-refundable booking fee of $250. We are currently only offering live cover.
