| After much thought, we have decided to offer our beautiful Sligo, for sale, since we are keeping several of his fabulous offspring. Sligo, is a superb Stallion. He is a 12 year old, tri-color, Tobiano and stands a solid 15.hands. Sligo is a famous stallion from Germany. He was born in 1995 in Ireland. He is registered, licensed and proven in 3 German stud books. He has tons of hair and feather and lovely markings. Sligo has been at stud since 1997, and is the sire of 5 licensed and proven sons, 3 gold medal foals, and 2 state premium mares. He is trained in dressage and driving. He is also a willing jumper. He is honest and strong in any situation, and handles himself as a real gentleman. We would love our good boy, to go to a home where someone is interested in furthering his show career, here in the US., and maybe putting a few good mares to him. He breeds and settles his mares easily, in hand or pasture. For someone considering adding a little color to their herd, Sligo might just be the one.
