| ZENA - SOLD!! |
| Name: Little Dreams Princess Zena Sire: Shantaigh DNA Ee Aa nCr nT Reluctantly offered for sale only because we are not planning to do as much breeding in the future. This mare would make a wonderful addition to any herd. She is a beautiful buckskin pinto with good conformation, plenty of hair, and excellent bloodlines. She stands 13.2 hands. She is sired by the stunning palomino stallion, Shantaigh, and a granddaughter of the fabulous Vines stallion, Nobby. Zena has proven herself to be an outstanding producer of gorgeous foals. So far she has given us two stunning colts that both inherited her cream gene. Both colts are tall, well conformed, and excellent movers. We left her open for 2012, but she sells with a free breeding to our wonderful bay pinto stallion, Gypsy Elite Aidan. Zena's color dna is Ee Aa nCR nT. She is heterozygous for black, agouti, cream and tobiano. She is capable of producing foals in a wide range of colors. Her first foal was a stunning double dilute colt that was homozygous for both cream and tobiano. He was sold to someone in Canada. Her second colt was a stunning smoky black colt. Zena has been bred to stallions much taller than her and had no trouble delivering. She gets in foal easily and has delivered two big healthy foals. She is a fantastic mom too. Zena is very sweet and friendly. She loves children and is easy to work with. She leads well, ties, lunges, loads great and stands for the farrier. As a 2 year old Zena had a month of roundpen work, saddlework, and ground driving training. She was fully accustomed to being saddled, having me stand in the stirrups and lay over her back. She was also harness broke (with and without blinders) and extensively ground driven around our 100 acre property. I don't own a cart so never hooked her up but she did drag a tire on a few occasions. I don't start riding my horses until at least 3 years old and since Zena was bred at 3 I never fully started her under saddle. If someone wished her to be broke to ride I could do that before she left for a small fee. Zena is registered with both the GVHS and the GHRA. I will be very sad to see this girl go so my loss is your gain. Price $13,000 with free breeding to Gypsy Elite Aidan.
